Willy Wonkas of the fashion world.

Designers Victor & Rolf put on quite a show for the Paris runway: fall 2010. As the show began, designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren followed model Kristen McMenamy onto the stage– and the show had begun. She came out wearing about 14-layers of clothing, which we later learned weighted 3x her weight, and as each model came out they would take off from the layers Kristen was wearing and apply it to the other model. Everything about the show to the clothes, had a industrial touch to it, Wrenches, screwdrives, and hammers were stenciled onto the pale backdrop, as if it was Victor & Rolf's factory and they were going to work on their models and clothes. "We wanted to show that the Viktor & Rolf fashion house is a “Glamour Factory”, where we produce clothes with a little bit of magic. We feel like the modern Willy Wonkas of the fashion world,” said Rolf Snoeren.
